The Leader
Independence and a drive to start things. You do best when you set your own course. The lesson is asking for help and not mistaking going it alone for strength.
Your life path number is your birth date added down to one digit, or to a master number (11, 22 or 33). Enter your date of birth and you get the number, the sum that led to it and a short reading. No time or place is needed.
Your life path number comes from your date of birth alone: reduce the month, the day and the year to one digit each, add them and reduce again, keeping the master numbers 11, 22 and 33. For 7 April 1990 it is 3. This free calculator shows every step of the sum, with no birth time or city needed.
We use the Pythagorean method most numerologists teach. Reduce the month, the day and the year to a single digit each, keeping 11, 22 and 33 when one of them comes up. Add the three results and reduce again by the same rule.
For 7 April 1990: April is 4, the 7th is 7, and 1990 is 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1. The sum is 4 + 7 + 1 = 12, which reduces to 3. Your life path number is 3.
The result page shows each of these steps for your own date. The calculation is plain arithmetic, so every calculator that uses this method gives the same number.
A short reading for each number, master numbers included.
Independence and a drive to start things. You do best when you set your own course. The lesson is asking for help and not mistaking going it alone for strength.
Cooperation, tact and sensitivity to people. You read a room well and work well in pairs. The lesson is saying what you want as clearly as you notice what others want.
Expression, humour and creativity. Words, art or performance are natural outlets. The lesson is finishing what you start and not scattering your gifts.
Order, patience and steady work. People rely on you because you follow through. The lesson is staying flexible when the plan has to change.
Change, freedom and curiosity about everything. You learn by doing and by moving. The lesson is commitment, and making a choice that lasts.
Responsibility, home and love given in practice. You are the one family and friends turn to. The lesson is not carrying everyone else’s load.
Thought, study and inner life. You want to understand how things work and need time alone to do it. The lesson is trusting people enough to let them in.
Ambition, authority and a head for money and power. You are drawn to large results. The lesson is using strength fairly and measuring success by more than status.
Compassion, a wide view and the sense of completing cycles. You give a lot and let go. The lesson is not carrying old griefs and learning to receive.
A heightened sensitivity and inspiration, read as a stronger 2. People often feel your insight before you explain it. The lesson is grounding it, and handling the nervous energy.
Practical vision on a large scale, read as a stronger 4. You can turn a big idea into something real. The lesson is bearing the pressure without giving up the goal.
Care for others at scale, through teaching, healing or guidance. It is rare, and some numerologists do not use it. The lesson is giving without losing yourself.
In numerology it is the number made from your full birth date, read as the main theme of your life: the way you tend to move through it and the lessons that keep returning. It is the number numerologists look at first.
Reduce the month, the day and the year separately to one digit (keeping 11, 22 and 33), add the three digits, and reduce the sum again. The calculator above does it and shows each step.
11, 22 and 33 are not reduced any further. Numerologists read them as stronger versions of 2, 4 and 6 that ask more of the person: 11 for intuition and inspiration, 22 for building on a large scale, 33 for teaching and care. Many practitioners work only with 11 and 22.
Usually because it adds every digit of the date in one go. That gives the same single digit in most cases but cannot keep a master number that comes from the month or the day. Chaldean numerology, which is a different system, gives other results altogether.
No. It is a symbolic tradition, and no study has shown that a birth date predicts a life. Many people use it the way they use a birth chart: as a prompt for thinking about their habits and choices.
The Destiny Matrix reads your birth date in much more depth. It uses all 22 arcana and places them on a chart of your character, talents, relationships and money. It is also built from the date alone.
The Destiny Matrix book reads the whole of your birth date: your arcana, your talents and the periods of your life. The natal chart book reads the sky as it was when you were born.
