November zodiac signs

Scorpio and Sagittarius

November belongs to two signs. Scorpio, fixed water ruled by Mars (with Pluto as its modern ruler), holds the Sun for roughly the first three weeks. Around the 21st and 22nd the Sun crosses into Sagittarius, mutable fire ruled by Jupiter, and stays there to the end of the month. The exact changeover shifts slightly from year to year, so the days near it have a computed table.

The two halves feel very different. Early and mid November birthdays carry Scorpio’s concentration: private, loyal, slow to trust and hard to distract. The late Scorpio days soften through the Cancer decan into something protective and quietly sentimental. Once the Sun reaches Sagittarius the mood opens out, louder and more restless, with a taste for open roads, big questions and plain speaking.
