March 18 in profile
Three degrees from the end of the zodiac, Pisces carries the memory of every sign before it. That is the traditional reading of the late degrees: wide sympathy, a feeling for everything at once and a pull toward release. The Scorpio decan, with Mars and modern Pluto as sub-rulers, gives the sympathy edges and backbone. A March 18 Pisces feels deeply and acts on it, often turning private emotion into something others can see, hear or use.
Creativity for them is close to a need. They doodle in meetings, invent songs for the cat, rewrite the lyrics of a hit for a friend’s leaving party. Their work tends toward the moving and the strange: music that makes people cry, images with a dark undertow. Play is wholehearted. At a fancy-dress party they are the one who sewed the costume from scratch the night before.
Helping comes naturally and tends to be practical. They show up with a van to help someone move, sit with a friend in hospital, quietly pay for a round when someone is short. Scorpio makes them choose carefully whom to help and then go all the way. The risk is rescuing people who would rather be supported. Asking “what would help?” before acting keeps the generosity aimed well.
Pisces all day
In every year from 1930 to 2040 the Sun was in Pisces for the whole of March 18, in every time zone. This is not a cusp birthday: the nearest changes of sign fall around February 19 and March 20.
Your Moon sign depends on the year
The Sun is in the same place on March 18 every year; the Moon is not. It changes sign every two and a half days, so people who share this birthday can have any of the twelve Moon signs. Compatible signs for a Pisces
Sun-sign compatibility starts from the element. Pisces gets on most easily with its own element and with the two sextile signs, and feels the strongest pull from its opposite. For a March 18 birthday, in the Scorpio decan, Scorpio is a natural match. The full charts decide how a real pairing feels.

Is March 18 a cusp birthday?

Your birthday is only the Sun
A March 18 birthday tells you where the Sun was. The Moon, the Rising sign and eight more planets each sit somewhere of their own, and they depend on the year, the hour and the place. The free calculator shows all of them.
