December 26 in profile
Capricorn begins its season with focus, and at 4° that focus is undiluted. Saturn governs both sign and decan through the Capricorn sub-sign, so form, discipline and time sit at the centre of the personality. The early degrees show the sign at its most deliberate and least decorated. A December 26 Capricorn tends to observe a situation fully before committing, and this habit shapes how others see them as well as how they make things.
At a first meeting they come across as composed, polite and slightly formal. They listen, ask precise questions and reveal little about themselves. Some take this for coolness, but within a few meetings the dry humour starts to show, timed perfectly and delivered with a straight face. They dress neatly and shake hands properly. Elders and children often warm to them first, sensing the steadiness underneath.
Creativity, for them, is a craft. They build models, restore furniture, knit complex patterns or write slowly and revise often. Play has rules and improves with practice. They rarely show work until it meets their own high standard, and a half-finished piece can stay hidden in a drawer for months. Sharing earlier and accepting rough edges brings feedback sooner and lets them enjoy the making as much as the finish.
Capricorn all day
In every year from 1930 to 2040 the Sun was in Capricorn for the whole of December 26, in every time zone. This is not a cusp birthday: the nearest changes of sign fall around December 22 and January 19.
Your Moon sign depends on the year
The Sun is in the same place on December 26 every year; the Moon is not. It changes sign every two and a half days, so people who share this birthday can have any of the twelve Moon signs. Compatible signs for a Capricorn
Sun-sign compatibility starts from the element. Capricorn gets on most easily with its own element and with the two sextile signs, and feels the strongest pull from its opposite. The full charts decide how a real pairing feels.
