December 28 in profile
Six degrees into Capricorn, the sign is still young and determined. Saturn rules the sign, and with Capricorn as the sub-sign of the first decan it rules here twice, lending patience, prudence and a strong sense of consequence. Early degrees keep the energy clear and undiluted: build, protect, endure. A December 28 Capricorn tends to think in years rather than weeks, and rarely acts without having looked at what could go wrong.
Rest comes hard because idleness feels irresponsible. They do best with restful activities that have a purpose: gardening, long walks with a destination, cooking a slow stew on a Sunday. Holidays are planned so thoroughly that nothing can go wrong. Once the planning is finished, they can actually switch off, and they sleep better in quiet, orderly places. A cabin with no signal, booked months ahead, is their idea of a treat.
Risk is taken, but only after research. They read the contract twice, compare quotes, ask an expert. When the numbers work they commit fully and stay the course. Their caution is often mistaken for timidity, though they act decisively once ready. A few small, low-stakes gambles, such as a spontaneous trip or a new hobby, do them good, because some of the best opportunities arrive before the full data does.

Compatible signs for a Capricorn
Sun-sign compatibility starts from the element. Capricorn gets on most easily with its own element and with the two sextile signs, and feels the strongest pull from its opposite. The full charts decide how a real pairing feels.
A gift for a December 28 birthday
A garden tool set of real quality or a seed collection for a vegetable patch, a slow project that rewards patience over several months.
