May 18 zodiac sign
May 18 brings the Sun to about 27° Taurus, near the end of the sign, where Saturn’s third-decan resolve has been tested and the next sign’s restlessness is just audible.

May 18 in profile
Twenty-seven degrees is among the most experienced points in Taurus. The sign has learned patience and loyalty over its whole length, and now carries them with an ease that looks effortless. The third decan’s Saturn, through its sub-sign Capricorn, makes that ease dependable and sometimes stern. At the same time, the nearness of Gemini brings a little more mental movement. A May 18 Taurus is grounded but quicker in thought and conversation than earlier Taurus dates.
In conflict they prefer to wait it out. A tense meeting finds them very still, listening and choosing words carefully. They hate drama and avoid shouting matches, but they will not move on a point of principle. When someone keeps pushing, the patience runs out in one clear, firm statement that ends the debate. Their anger is rare and memorable, and they find it hard to forget a betrayal.
Stress makes them hold on tighter to routine. During a difficult month they eat the same breakfast, walk the same route and keep the house in strict order, which helps them stay upright. If stress continues, they can withdraw and stop answering messages. The useful habit is telling one trusted person what is happening, early, so withdrawal does not turn into isolation.

Compatible signs for a Taurus
Sun-sign compatibility starts from the element. Taurus gets on most easily with its own element and with the two sextile signs, and feels the strongest pull from its opposite. For a May 18 birthday, in the Capricorn decan, Capricorn is a natural match. The full charts decide how a real pairing feels.
